Meet the Doctors

Gregory Brea, MD

My name is Dr. Gregory Brea and I am from Trumbull, CT. I am an internal medicine resident at Detroit Medical Center/Wayne State University ultimately looking to specialize in gastroenterology. I completed my undergraduate education at Colgate University and majored in Neuroscience. I’ve worked in multiple teaching positions including being a teacher’s assistant for pathology and anatomy. My goal is to make medicine as easy to digest as possible because it takes time and patience to feel comfortable with the overwhelming amount of information out there.

Anthony Cimmino, MD

Dr. Anthony Cimmino, was born in Nashville Tennessee, and is a native New Yorker. He is a graduate of Ramapo College of New Jersey and obtained his medical degree from Trinity School of Medicine in 2020. He is currently studying for his USMLE Step 3 board examination and applying to residency programs. Dr. Cimmino has been published in multiple medical journals and is an active research assistant at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. He regularly volunteers with the American Cancer society and Mental Health Association of Rockland. He is a member of the American College of Physicians, as well as, the American Psychiatric Association. In addition to his academic career, Dr. Cimmino is a self-taught musician/composer of various instruments, and has toured the country with multiple musical acts. His hobbies include astronomy, cooking, swimming, comedy/improv, quantum physics, and auto mechanics. He is currently collaborating with Dr. El Walters, helping to educate the next generation of pre-med students with an interactive, whimsical course through the HEAL Clinical Education Network.

Elizabeth Walters, MD

Dr. Elizabeth Walters, is originally from Johannesburg, South Africa, and currently resides in New York. She received her medical degree from Trinity School of Medicine in 2020. Presently, she is studying for her USMLE Step 3 board examination and applying to residency programs. Dr. El has had two exceptional career paths prior to studying medicine. One as a Creative Director, and the other as a Kinesiologist, specializing in Neural Training. She has published in multiple journals and is an active research assistant at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore. She has a history of caring for orphans born with AIDS, and volunteering with the Motor Neuron Foundation in South Africa. She is an active member of the American College of Physicians, as well as, the American Society for Clinical Pathology. In her spare time, Dr. El enjoys traveling, swimming, cooking, painting, and reading. Most recently, She has coupled with Dr. Anthony Cimmino, to be bring you an entertaining, comprehensive introduction to medicine class, through the HEAL Clinical Education Network.

Janet Snoyer

Janet’s advising career in Ithaca, NY has involved work as a learning strategies counselor, admissions officer at a university, teacher of college success courses, college success counselor, writer of committee letters for students applying to medical school, and chief advisor at an Ivy League university that sends over 250 applicants to medical school each year. She has advised students on every aspect of the medical and dental admissions cycle.
