Rob Humbracht
Rob loves to solve hard problems. An entrepreneur by accident, Rob relishes building systems and seeing possibilities where none previously existed.
In his decade-long tenure as a trainer at The Princeton Review, Rob coached hundreds of students and mentored dozens of teachers across the country. It wasn't enough that he could get a perfect score on these exams; now Rob had to guide others to solve hard problems too.
When his students began to ask for help on their application essays, Rob's boss lovingly kicked him out and told him to start the business that would become Passport Admissions. Over the past 14 years, Rob has built Passport from nothing to a diverse team of 16+ educators, working with thousands of students on their essays, interviewing, and applications. Along the way, Rob has had to build the technology and systems to manage the community of students and to allow the team to step in and run the business, eventually weaning Rob from the day-to-day of Passport.
In September 2020, Rob and his co-founder Janet Snoyer saw a need in the marketplace for virtual clinical experiences. The HEAL Clinical Education Network has grown into a community of pre-health students from all walks of life. Rob has built HEAL on a shoe-string budget with a small team comprised of many of HEAL's early users. After a hectic nine months, HEAL now boasts 24,000+ satisfied users and has built a library of 100+ courses on different medical specialties led by doctors and medical students.
Rob looks forward to continuing to solve hard problems for the benefits of pre-health students and educators into the future.
