Summer Intensive 2022


The HEAL Summer Intensive program offers meaningful interaction with both your pre-med peers and real physicians in exploring several aspects of what it means to be a physician, using ReelDx patient cases.

  • Each intensive is $599. You can choose to take only one, but we encourage both. Register for the entire summer intensive for $999; a discount of $199!

  • Earn up to 60 hours of relevant clinical experience through the live sessions and the specialty courses. Each session offers a certificate for 6 clinical shadowing hours. Complete all of the included specialty courses for an additional 48 clinical shadowing hours.

  • Eight total Clinical Specialty Courses are included and can be completed anytime during the program. The asynchronous nature empowers you to study when your schedule allows.

  • Mentoring sessions each week will help to make you the strongest possible medical school applicant.

  • The Summer Intensive bundles are designed for any pre-med student, including high school students, who desire a strong foundation in clinical thinking and skills.

Christopher Behringer, DO


I’m an Osteopathic Family Medicine Physician in Kentucky. I have a special interest in international medicine, lifestyle management, and Osteopathic Manipulation. I have been mentoring undergraduates on their journey to medical school since I was a 2nd year when I became a TA in the Osteopathic Manipulation Lab. I also gave regular didactics to pre-health groups at my alma mater the University of Central Florida. I continue to mentor pre-health undergraduates as well as medical students and look forward to working with more!
Janet Snoyer

Janet’s advising career in Ithaca, NY has involved work as a learning strategies counselor, admissions officer at a university, teacher of college success courses, college success counselor, writer of committee letters for students applying to medical school, and chief advisor at an Ivy League university that sends over 250 applicants to medical school each year. She has advised students on every aspect of the medical and dental admissions cycle.

Samantha LaQua, MD

Dr. Samantha LaQua is a board-certified family medicine physician currently finishing up her Obstetrics Fellowship in July to be C-Section certified and provide full spectrum family medicine care. She is originally from the beautiful island of Grenada and went to Medical School at SUNY Upstate Medical University in NY. She did her residency at Halifax Medical Center in Daytona and is currently finishing up her Fellowship in Florida. She thoroughly enjoys spreading the joys of medicine, encouraging her patients and students and delivering babies! In her spare time you can find her wedding planning as she is soon to be married in September! She is excited and thrilled to be a part of the HEAL team!
