    The Summer Intensive bundles are designed for graduating high school and early undergraduate students who need insight into how to navigate their immediate futures while earning valuable clinical shadowing hours.

    Session I: June 15 – July 8
    Session II: July 13 – August 5

    Tuesdays and Thursdays
    5pm-6:30pm PST / 8pm-9:30pm EST

Bundle Perks

HEAL's Summer Intensives are designed to arm you with the tools and knowledge to successfully navigate your undergraduate education from Day 1.

  • You will receive 45 hours of clinical shadowing credit for each intensive you take (earn 90 hours for both).

  • You will automatically receive two free months of HEAL membership.

  • You will understand which authority figures you should network with to best set you up for professional school.

  • You will receive an actionable plan to guide you through your undergraduate journey to being accepted into a health professional school.

Meet Your Instructors

We have an outstanding panel of medical experts and experienced pre-med students lined up to provide you with the knowledge to confidently navigate your undergraduate experience.




Session I Instructor


Christopher Behringer, DO is a PGY-3 Family Medicine resident in a rural program in North Carolina. He has a special interest in international medicine, lifestyle management, and Osteopathic Manipulation. He has been mentoring undergraduates on their journey to medical school since he was a 2nd year, was a TA in the Osteopathic Manipulation lab, and gave regular didactics to pre-health groups at his alma mater: University of Central Florida. He continues to mentor pre-health undergraduates as well as medical students.


Session II Instructor


Chrisanta Simon, MD is a recent medical school graduate from UMHS in St. Kitts and Nevis. She is originally from Toronto, Ontario where she did her undergraduate degree in Bio-Medical Sciences at the University of Guelph. While Chrisanta was in medical school, she was a teaching assistant for microbiology, genetics, and human anatomy dissection lab.
