460: Head to Toe Trauma in the ED

This course is all about management of traumatic injuries in the emergency department. From head injuries and eye bleeding, all the way to chainsaw accidents, we will cover the initial trauma assessment and the management of a variety of injuries. You’ll come away with a better understanding of the anatomy at risk, and the systematic approach providers use to care for patients with serious emergencies!

Instructor

Tara Tardino, 4th Year Medical Student

Tara Tardino is a fourth year medical student at the University of Miami where she is completing a dual MD-MPH degree and applying to Emergency Medicine residency. She graduated from Cornell University in 2018 with a Bachelor's Degree in Human Development and minors in Spanish & Gerontology. She has extensive teaching experience and enjoys helping pre-med students achieve success in applying to medical school.
